The ISR is happy to invite you to our next Summer Seminars. Location: Porto (Portugal) built along the hillsides, overlooking the mouth of Duoro river, an outstanding urban landscape with more than 2000-year history.
History revived
In 2001, the International Society of the Rorschach has reintroduced the tradition of continuing education originally offered in the late 40’s and 50’s. At that time it was usually arranged in Zürich, Switzerland. Well-known Rorschach specialists Walter Morgenthaler and Margaret Loosli-Usteri were central to the development of the initial programs and contributed actively to them. Presentations were also made by other outstanding colleagues such as Schachter and Bohm.
Recent time
The precessors of the ISR Continuing Education Committee did not have to contend with the problem of language, as all presentations were done in German. Today, a great number of members is coming from all over the world and with different languages. English has been chosen as common enough to present the lectures.
For the first occasions, 2001 and 2003, Spiez (Switzerland), 2004 Vaxholm (Sweden), 2006 Montegrotto (Italy), 2007 Lucerne (Switzerland) and 2009 Prague (Czech Republic), 2010 Montreux (Switzerland) and 2012 San Remo (Italy) were chosen for their beautiful locations and nice atmosphere.
